Tonight marks the kickoff of the 44th Italian Festival in Sudbury.
It all happens at the Caruso Club, 358 Haig St.
Here's the schedule for this year's Italian Festival:
Tonight, Rock Solid Wrestling makes its return to the Caruso Club. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the action getting underway at 7 p.m. Sudbury.com will be putting up some photos from the event tonight.
On Friday, the opening ceremonies for 44th annual Italian Festival takes place at 4:30 p.m. With a flag-raising ceremony and proclamation.
Following the opening will be the Regions of Italy Food Fair, as well as a fish pond, outdoor tent and barbecue.
The rest Friday's itinerary is, as follows:
- 5-7:30 p.m.: Live entertainment – outdoor tent: Filippo Mazza and Nolan Pyott
- 7 p.m. Foosball Tournament – member’s lounge ($30 per team)
- 7:30 p.m. Italian Festival Youth Contest – Sala Da Vinci
- 8 p.m. Live entertainment – Outdoor Tent: The Suicide Drifters
Saturday's itinerary
- 9 a.m. - Società Caruso World Cup Tournament – Futsal Tournament. Parking Lot ($50 per team – members $60 per team – non-members)
- Noon - Fish pond opens
- Noon–5 p.m. - Live entertainment – outdoor tent
- Noon - Kids Zone opens
- Noon - 10 p.m. Outdoor barbecue opens
- 4:30 p.m. - Pasta buffet – Sala Da Vinci ($14/adults, $7/children)
- 5–7:30 p.m. - Live Entertainment – outdoor tent: Justin James
- 7:30pm – 9 p.m. - YES Theatre - Sala Da Vinci
