Photos: Downtown Sudbury fills with the twinkling lights of the 60th Santa Claus Parade

Mr. and Mrs. Claus make their triumphant return to Downtown Sudbury

Sudbury celebrated 60 years of Christmas Magic on Nov. 17 with the 2018 Sudbury Santa Claus Parade.

The celebration began with the Santa Watch Party in the TD Canada Trust parking lot, and featured horse and carriage rides, face painting, giant inflatables, and lots of sweet treats.

At 5:30 p.m. Downtown Sudbury became flooded with twinkling lights as Santa's many helpers marched into view.

This year's parade included new local business such as Cafe One, cadet troops, dance academies, as well as parade favourites Vale and Glencore.

From rollerblading angels to backfliping gymnasts, the Sudbury Santa Claus Parade had something for everyone.
