To launch their 10th anniversary season, the Young Sudbury Singers are hosting a free choir camp Aug. 31 that's open to all children and youth aged seven to 17.
Participants in “Young Sudbury Sings!” will learn several choral selections that will be performed in a community fundraising concert held at the Grotto on Thursday, Sept. 1, starting at 7 p.m.
Choir camp takes place 4-7 p.m. at Sudbury Secondary School.
This fun, end-of-summer activity will begin with some interactive icebreaker activities and vocal warm-up exercises, followed by a rehearsal of the musical selections that will be performed at the Grotto the following evening. A light supper will be provided for all participants, at no cost.
