Frightlites help CF patients - Sylvie Quesnel

My son, Joel Quesnel, is a hero. Every day, he battles a deadly disease called cystic fibrosis (CF). One in 25 Canadians carries a defective version of the gene responsible for CF.

My son, Joel Quesnel, is a hero. Every day, he battles a deadly disease called cystic fibrosis (CF). One in 25 Canadians carries a defective version of the gene responsible for CF. Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs and digestive system and it is fatal.

We are asking members of the community to be real-life heroes by purchasing a FrightLite. FrightLites are six-inch glow sticks that children can wear trick-or-treating. Parents love them because they help keep their kids visible to motorists and other people on the street. Kids love them because they are cool.

As a parent of a child with CF, I love them because all of the money raised from sales goes to CF research so that there might be a cure, or an effective control for this terrible disease.

FrightLites are only $3. They are non-toxic and kid-safe. They come in five brilliant colours and glow for eight to 12 hours. FrightLites can be purchased through the Sudbury Cystic Fibrosis Chapter ([email protected]) or at Regent CARSTAR Collision, 2083 Armstrong St.
You can also help the Sudbury Cystic Fibrosis Chapter and Regent CARSTAR Collision in their fight against CF by purchasing a FrightLite® at the New Sudbury Shopping Centre this week from 9am to 9pm
