I'm writing this letter in regards to the
Greater City of Sudbury's new snow removal policy.
I'm very frustrated with the conditions of
all the roads. Why is it that the city can't remove snow and
yet wonder why the accident rate is going up? To even pull out
onto a street you are pretty much hoping not to get hit.
I live in Falconbridge and the commute into
Sudbury isn't my idea of fun when I have to go to the outside
lane because the inside lane is half covered in
snowbanks.
I'm a new mother and if I ever get hit, I'm
sending my repair bill to the city for them to pay it for their
lack of snow removal. Then I'm going to sue the city for any
injury to my new son or me.
Didn't they just get an increase of funds for
this?
I wonder what is more important to them,
safety to the public or their paycheques (even though I don't
think they're doing their job)?
I'm fed up!
