With the laughable report presented to city hall stating that half of our roads are in good shape and the demand for Maley Drive now producing a road we don’t have the ability to build or even maintain, it is time for those who are responsible for the disaster that is infrastructure to go.
No sane manager of infrastructure would ever push for more infrastructures in a city with falling revenues, a declining and aging population and an infrastructure deficit.
Instead of reorganizing and using existing resources, we are now adding to the stress of the budget.
Now our emergency management and other budgets must suffer.
We do not need new arenas or roads taxing our crumbling infrastructure. What we need is a new general management with respect for the council and a drive to reduce the demand on our infrastructure.
