I am writing about the recent article Union boss wants
workers to fight for safer workplaces in the April 30 edition.
This article was about a union boss of the United Steelworkers
of America who talked to workers of Sudbury so they can become
more self-aware of the dangers at our workplaces. I am a
concerned person who will be very upset if something happens to
a relative or friend in the places where they do their jobs.
I believe this issue should be brought to notice at every
workplace since there are many possibilities where people can
get hurt or even killed.
There are many solutions to this problem that could save the
lives of many people. People in the workplace should ask how to
operate machinery before using it. They can get their boss to
have classes and programs for the workers so that they can
perform their jobs correctly. This is a large problem in
workplaces that can easily be solved by  simple asking
questions.
