The Anderson Farm Museum Heritage Society (AFMHS) would like to express our sincere appreciation to the sponsors of our 10th annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration, Dec. 10, at the Anderson Farm Museum. It was a huge success, with more than 1,000 people attending from Ward 2 and the City of Greater Sudbury.

Our gold long-term sponsor: Tim Horton’s Lively (2012-2016) (2017-2021) who provided all of the free hot chocolate served in the stable and the granary.

Our two silver long-term sponsors: Equipment North (2013-2017) who provided floodlights for our event and the use of a bucket truck for four days, so that the Walden Seniors Woodworkers could replace 48 strings of outdoor Christmas Lights at AFM. Lively Physiotherapy (2014-2018) for sponsoring our free horse-drawn trolley rides, provided by Wagon Wheel Ranch

It's supported in part by Ward 2 Healthy Communities Initiative funds, provided by the City of Greater Sudbury, towards the costs of replacing 48 strings of outdoor Christmas lights on the barn, Creighton log cabin, granary, clad sea can, the windmill and the huge evergreen tree, beside the farm house.

The AFMHS really appreciates the generous support of the city and our long-term business sponsors of our 10th annual Christmas Tree-Lighting Celebration.
