The Sudbury Food Bank would like to give its sincerest thanks to the Belanger Ford and their team, especially their mechanics that have volunteered their time to assist us by repairing our refrigeration truck that was vandalized on Nov. 12.

This will allow the truck to be back in services much faster then was first thought and will lead to the saving of thousands of pounds of fresh fruit and vegetable, meat and dairy products.

We also wish to thank the many garages and businesses that offered their services to assist us with this issue. Your consideration and thoughtfulness to offer assistance was most appreciated.

We would also like to thank the citizens of Great Sudbury for their offers to help during this trying process. We all live in an incredible region with incredible citizens and businesses and should be most proud. The Greater City of Sudbury is not just a name. Thank-you.

We also thank all medias and the Greater Sudbury Police Services for getting the original story out to the community, and raising awareness of the difficulties we could have faced in feeding our regions hungry.
