Being well-known in the community, I have been receiving numerous calls from the public and Ward 9 residents asking me to run for council (again).

I would like to inform you that I have decided to focus all my attention in representing the people of Ontario through the provincial appointments I hold.

Running for council is a huge task and I want to wish the candidates all the best — work as hard as you can to achieve your goal. I also want to thank the residents of Ward 9 for their support in the past.

This new council requires a leadership team that will bring our city to its next level.

As mentioned, I have always been involved in fundraising for cancer in our community. I am a founding member and chair of the Strokes for Hope Golf Classic, which raises funds for our local researchers.

Currently, I am an executive member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. As well, I am currently an adjudicator for Tribunals Ontario.

I would love to serve on city council but I have decided to focus my attention working and representing the citizens of the Province of Ontario.

I do want to thank the residents in Ward 9 for their continued support and calls; it’s much appreciated.

Again, I wish all candidates the best in the upcoming election. The next four years will be challenging.
