We hope that all Sudburians and area residents had a great holiday and a good start to the New Year.

At Branch 76, it's back to business. The first order of business is thanking the citizens of our great area for their continued support in our poppy tagging campaign.

The numbers are in, and we are proud to say that with your support we collected over $60,000. To all who worked and all who donated, a great big thank you.

Without this continued support, we could not serve our veterans’ needs. They, who gave their all for their country and trust us to have their backs, will continue to be our No. 1 priority.

Our mission is to serve veterans, including military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance, and to serve our communities and our country.

We are in the process of setting up our disbursements at the moment. This year will include the Northern Cancer Centre, Cadet corps, homeless veterans programs, Operation Service Dog, youth education. etc.

Anyone over 18 wanting to make a difference in the lives of veterans, please don’t be shy. Drop in and pick up an application. The process is painless and the results are rewarding. Hope to see you soon.
