Letter: Les Miserables performance one of 2014’s highlights

Congratulations for one of the biggest highlights in the community for 2014.
Congratulations for one of the biggest highlights in the community for 2014. One of Sudbury’s oldest established musical institutions combined with one of the city’s newest dramatic groups recently to create a performance that will be remembered for many years.

Before Christmas, near capacity audiences at Glad Tidings were enthralled by the production of Les Miserables in Concert with the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra and the YES theatre company.

The 25-piece orchestra was conducted by Jamie Arrowsmith with 30 members of the YES company in vocal numbers directed by Fiona Sauder and K.C. Rautianen.

Many remarked at the outstanding talent and professional production. We are fortunate to have dedicated volunteers to bring entertainment of this calibre to fellow citizens.
