'She saved me from a very difficult day,' says letter-writer

Letter-writer Elisabeth Roejskjaer says she's very grateful for the woman who went to some trouble to return her car keys, which she'd dropped in a parking lot. (Supplied)

Recently, while I was shopping at Chapters, I found that I was missing my car keys.

I thought I had them in my coat pocket when I got to my car in the parking lot.

Imagine my surprise when a lady approached me, with my keys, which she had picked up behind my car some time earlier. She had actually stayed there, for quite awhile, I believe, to make sure to return them to the owner.

She would not take any money and she saved me from a very difficult day, not being able to get home, or figuring out how to retrieve my car later.

I am so grateful to her, and will donate her “finder's fee” to the food bank.

This city has lots of really kind people. Please remember that.
