Letter: Sutcliffe's 'average' comment about needles a sticking point with reader

We should not be OK that Sudbury is around the provincial average for needle exchange

In the article “Public Health's needle exchange handed out 1.2 million needles in 2017,” published Feb. 16, I'm glad to see that Penny Sutcliffe finds that we are “average.”

“Sudbury sits around the provincial average ... ” so we should be OK. Take a walk through the war zone downtown and tell me this is “average.”

This is the way that a crisis should be looked after. Right?
