Here is a nice story I would like to share.

On Dec. 18, Saturday night, I was going to Mass. As I left the house, my hands were full: two sets of keys, my gloves, my soft hat and some disposables to dump in the blue box in the garage.

As I looked at the road, the snow plow had not passed by, and I decided to clean a patch to back up my car.

When I got to church, I realized that I didn't have my purse. Since my house is the last one on the street, I figured not too many people would come my way, especially at this time of day, so I decided to wait until Mass was over to return home. And, chances were that I had left it in the house or garage.

When I came back home, my purse was between the two front doors. Surely, I did not leave it there. I opened up my purse to find my hat covered with snow had been inserted. I had a sealed envelope with $100 in the purse.

The envelope was gone, but the five $20 bills had been put back into the purse. My other envelope containing the church offering was missing, and also a card for a doctor's appointment. But the rest was intact. All the contents of my purse otherwise was there.

I called all my neighbours to find who had brought my purse back. No one was aware of anything.

A week later, I received a phone call. A lady had found my cheque for the church offering and wanted to know what to do. I started to thank her for bringing my purse in, but she said she only found the cheque, but not a purse, and she was walking her dog.

I would like to thank the honest person very much. All my credentials were in my purse. To me, what a wonderful Christmas gift.

We hear of bad news all the time, but it's so refreshing to hear something good.

Thank you so much, whomever you are.
