On the front page of the Northern Life on Feb. 28 is a picture of two boys.
Liam Judd raised money by cutting off his hair for Carter Carre, who is currently undergoing treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
This young man raised an amazing $6,380, which is going to Carter and his family for expenses, travel and treatment.
I just wonder why we citizens don’t nominate the younger generation for their generosity in helping others. I, for one, nominate this young man, Liam Carre, for his caring heart and generosity in giving.
His parents must be so very proud of him. He should get an award for giving. Keep up the great things that you do, Liam.
