Letter: Why all the attention for Second Avenue?

I don’t understand why Second Avenue is getting all the roadwork done when Lorne Street, the gateway from the west, is being overlooked. Second Avenue is not a main artery by any means — Lorne Street is.

I don’t understand why Second Avenue is getting all the roadwork done when Lorne Street, the gateway from the west, is being overlooked.

Second Avenue is not a main artery by any means — Lorne Street is. It welcomes visitors into our city, but it is an embarrassment and a disgrace.

What must they think? Exactly what Sudbury’s reputation has been in the past, a rough, northern mining town.
