I say today to Ontario Health Minister George
Smitherman, or any other parties, our government health care is
sacred and shouldn't be touched by
anyone. There is only one health care plan
and it is the one we have today. We can and must fix it.
Shirlie Douglas, the daughter of icon Tommy
Douglas, agrees. Also, this is a time when there are more grey
hairs than pigtails.
This is a time of an aging work force, an
aging population and our youth don't realize the severity of
this move, or the possible consequences.
I say to Smitherman, this is a cardinal sin
and a haunting avenue for anyone who ventures this route. So I
say to all my brothers and sisters and all people of Ontario,
it is time for us to run the government, not the government to
run us.
