Letter: Make good on your promises, Mr. Premier

Reader has little faith that Doug Ford will come through

There is no need to look at the U.S. anymore. In Ontario, we now have our own boorish, egotistical divisive person.

Sound familiar? He inherited a good business from his father and takes credit, makes promises he can’t keep, depends on a certain section of the population for support and has little regard for family.

I am so anxious to see a litre of gas reduced by 10 cents, my taxes reduced, see the child care tax credit, income tax credits for those earning minimum wage, the creation of 15,000 long-term-care beds and free dental care for seniors.

I wonder when he will fire Hydro One executives (he said his first month in office) and lower our hydro rates by 12 per cent?

I predict that before the month is done, he will stand and say the province is in too much trouble to implement his promises.

Nice going southern Ontario, we will need to live with this for a few years.
