In 2005, Dr. Roger Strasser made a total of $368,595. That's
$80,000 more than the year before. If he worked a 40 hour week,
for 52 weeks, he would make $177 an hour. I am wondering what
one says to all those volunteers who give hours and hours of
their time and money to what they consider a good cause?
I wonder what one says to the 50,000 workers in Sudbury who
make less than $10 per hour?
Some day, maybe soon, the good people of this town are going
to realize they are being used by these community leaders.
If the managers (and CEOs) aren't prepared to make
sacrifices and display some measure of respect as to where the
money comes from, why should we?
Some 13,800 people use Sudbury's food banks each month. I
would be ashamed at these figures and so should you!
