I woke up Feb. 2 to find a massive snow pile
at the end of my driveway. It was left there by city workers
cleaning the almost bare streets. This pile was higher than my
car and almost covered the whole end of my driveway. I had to
climb the banks with my car and skim by this huge hunk of snow
in order to get out.
It was removed later that day, but had I not
had a smaller car, I would have had to take a sick day. (There
is no city bus service from this area). I'm still shovelling
what is left of that pile. I'm tired of cleaning up other
people's mess.
