On behalf of the Alzheimer Society Capital
Campaign, I would like to thank Tony and Diane Vlahboulos and
all their generous staff at Tony V's Pizza and Restaurant who
gave their talent, time and energy to run Breakfast for a
Cause.
Tony and Diane, owners of Tony V's, supplied
all the food and advertisement, while their staff donated their
time to hold a breakfast fundraiser, where 100 percent of the
sales went to the capital campaign. They're one tremendous
group of workers with one big heart.
While the breakfast raised $1,700 for the
Alzheimer Society Capital Campaign, the staff collected their
tips for the month, Tony matched them, and another donation for
$1,000 will be going to the Christmas telethon this year.
The money generously donated by Tony V's and
all contributions to the Sudbury-Manitoulin Alzheimer Society
will be used for a new Alzheimer Centre which will create a new
day centre of those who suffer Alzheimer Disease and related
dementia.
