Whose interests are represented? - Marc Crockford

After visiting Lynne Reynolds campaign website I noticed words like, join "our" team and help "us" elect Reynolds. Clearly Reynolds is representing a private or special interest group. Private leadership has no place in the public leadership domain.

Clearly Reynolds is representing a private or special interest group. Private leadership has no place in the public leadership domain. When one speaks about the public sector, then the key word is "public" - public policy, public management and public administration.

Becoming mayor does not require tin cupping for donations; it requires a fundamentally sound, forward-thinking platform. Who are the "us," "our" and "we" that is referred to? The last thing this city needs is three more years of special and private interest representation.
