What a pleasant surprise I got Tuesday night. I had left a parcel from Zellers store in a shopping cart. I called both Zellers and the A& P at the Southridge Mall to ask if anyone had returned it.

Aaron Taxi is being fined for doing an act of kindness to a woman who needed to be picked up from an area that Aaron should not have dared to tread (Northern Life, Feb. 11 edition Taxi driver calls city bylaw undemocratic).

A research firm will poll about 500 Greater Sudbury residents and ask 15 questions.

The media has been referred to as the Fourth Estate, it being the de-facto fourth arm of government along with the executive, parliament and the judiciary.

I live in what is now called Greater Sudbury. I am 54 years old and have a very good memory. Simply put, I don't trust any politician at any level.

I was surprised with former mayor Jim Gordon's recent comments regarding Sudbury MPP Rick Bartolucci's work on four-laning Highway 69. I would have thought he would have been happy to finally see real work starting on the highway.
