Theatre Cambrian is returning to its roots with the company's first dinner theatre of the 2019 season.

A Little Quickie runs April 4-6 at the Northbury Hotel on Brady Street (formerly the Lexington). This is the original home of Theatre Cambrian Dinner Theatre.

The stand up comedy team of Steve and Allen are on the brink of success when Steve's neglected wife Sara and Allen have an unexpected fling, a lifelong dream come true for Allen.

The play is interspersed with bits of Steve and Allen's routine, which provide a hilarious running commentary on the actions.

A Little Quickie is directed by Shawn Bailey.

"This is the second time we have done this show and my second time directing it, and the laughs never stop,” Bailey said, in a press release.

“I love this play so much and the cast (with many new faces) is working extremely hard and doing a great job. It's definitely worth coming to see.”

Tickets for dinner and show are $49, or $25 for show only.

The event is licensed with plenty of accessible parking and washrooms and venue on the main level.

For tickets, phone the Theatre Cambrian Box Office at 705-524-7317, visit in person Tuesday to Friday at 40 Eyre St. from 12-5 p.m. or go online to www.theatrecambrian.ca.
