Pyewacket, directed by Adam MacDonald (Backcountry), is currently shooting in Sault Ste. Marie.

And if you’re a fan of The Walking Dead, one of the indie film’s stars will be familiar.

Laurie Holden – who portrayed Andrea Harrison through four seasons of the zombie series – stars as Mrs. Reyes, the ‘unstable’ mother of a teenager (played by Nicole Munoz) that inadvertently awakens dark forces.

Teddy Wilson, host of InnerSpace on the Space channel, was in the Sault to chat on camera with Harrison, Munoz and MacDonald about Pyewacket.

“So stoked for this film - phenomenal acting calibre, and I'm a huge fan of Adam's previous movie, Backcountry,” the host posted to Instagram Thursday.
