Annual Cambrian music program concert goes tonight

The Cambrian Music Showcase Concert is being held in the college amphitheatre, Friday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. 

This annual concert features students in the music program competing for awards and bursaries. Prizes will be awarded for top performances in each instrument category and one overall “Best Performer” is chosen.

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for students and seniors. Children 12 years and under enjoy the show for free.

Then on Sunday, the Sudbury Guitar Orchestra, featuring students and faculty in Cambrian’s music program, performing at 3 p.m. at All Nations Church on St. Raphael Street (off Howie Drive). They are performing as part of a Sudbury Guitar Society concert, headlined by the Orontes Guitar Quartet from Damascus, Syria.
