If you’re looking for some laughs to end out what has been a pretty tumultuous year, Canadian comedian Ron James is putting on a New Year’s Eve Zoom show live from his living room called “Hindsight is 2020.”

“If you’re close to hitting your tipping point after 10 months spent surviving this white knuckle of a ‘Corona Coaster’ ride, watching your income nose-dive and feeling your anxiety rise, rest assured, good people, you’re not alone,” James said.

“So, before the Martians invade, (cause you just know that’s coming next!) or the vaccine arrives (the Martians will be here before that) I’ve written a New Year’s Eve special called ‘Hindsight Is 2020.’

“A million or more of you used to hang out with me every Dec. 31 when my one-hour specials aired on TV, so there’s no reason we can’t do the same when the show airs ‘Live from My Living Room’ 8 p.m. EST.”

Tickets cost $30 each and can be purchased online here. Mention you heard about the show through Sudbury Theatre Centre (who is providing local promotion) at checkout, and STC will receive $2 from each ticket sold.
