A well-known physician, cancer survivor and television show
host will speak in Sudbury, May 12 as part of an oncology
conference.
Dr. Marla Shapiro, who hosts the CTV show Balance, will
speak at the Holiday Inn on Regent St. from 1 to 2 pm. Tickets
for the lunch are $30.
"We are delighted to have such a well-known and respected
speaker at this year's conference," said conference organizer
Terry MacKenzie, in a news release.
"We wanted to open up Dr. Shapiro's presentation to the
public because her message (of) living well and finding balance
in life is an important message for all people, not just those
going through cancer treatment or who have survived the
disease."
