If you've been missing the tradition that is Capreol Days, organizers are pleased to announce that the event, Capreol Days 2.0, is back in action, this year from Thursday, July 28 to Sunday, July 31.

A new committee has taken up the reins of the more than 30-year-old event, and a release from the group states they expect “well over 5,000 attendees over the course of the weekend.”

This year, the event will feature a pro-wrestling event and Comic Con-style day featuring Dadpool (a Deadpool-like character) and his car, as well as a vendor-filled street fair, live music

dancing, food booths and carnival style games for all ages.

A scary carnival Fun House from the producers of Northern Screams and Capreol Terror Train, the Capreol market, ducky races, a dunk tank, pancake breakfast and a “Valley’s Got Talent” competition will be on offer, as well as a presentation by Northern Exotics, a patio jam session, karaoke, baseball tournament, fireworks and more.

Admission to most of the events is $5, and sponsorship opportunities are open until July 15.
