Lively artist Tyler Fauvelle took part in the Sudbury Mining Week mall display at the New Sudbury Centre May 7. Fauvelle sculpted a bear out of clay, which will be cast in bronze when it is complete. It is part of his Vanishing Worlds collection.

Lively artist Tyler Fauvelle took part in the Sudbury Mining Week mall display at the New Sudbury Centre May 7.

Fauvelle sculpted a bear out of clay, which will be cast in bronze when it is complete.

It is part of his Vanishing Worlds collection. He has also created a number of mining related pieces. He said the sculptures are a fun way to educate kids about the mining industry.

Sudbury Mining Week runs until May 14 and aims to promote mining and its importance to the economy and culture of northern Ontario.
