Mozart’s "The Magic Flute" is a love story of fantastic proportions, and fun for the whole family.

Will the heroic Tamino be able to rescue the Queen of the Night’s beautiful daughter Pamina from the clutches of the mysterious Sarastro? Will Papageno the bird-seller ever give up his bachelor ways? Is anything as it seems?

Featuring some of Mozart’s best loved music and arias, "The Magic Flute" stars a cast of Canada’s best singers, including Sudburians Peter McGillivray, Pamela Teed, Deanne Wells-Hunt and Lindsay Barrett, this is an evening of holiday music that is sure to please even the most discerning opera fans.

The opera will be presented in English. The concert gets underway at 7:30 p.m. at Christ the King Cathedral on Ste. Anne Road.

Tickets cost $45 for adults, $40 for seniors and $25 for students.
