The 29th edition of Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival is fast approaching, and the festival requires a dedicated team of volunteers.

Whether you have volunteered for Cinéfest Sudbury in the past or would like to join us for your first film festival experience in 2017, now is your chance. 

The festival continues to grow and play host to an increasing number of films, patrons and industry guests from around the world, and it is important that volunteers serve as ambassadors for both the festival and the City of Greater Sudbury, a press release said.

As such, whether you’re a volunteer with a background in customer service and public relations, or whether you are always smiling and happy to assist patrons find their seats and discuss film, the festival has a place for you.

Volunteer positions that the festival is currently looking for:

  • Theatre Ushers at SilverCity Sudbury 
  • Gala Reception Hosts and Servers 
  • Box Office Attendants at the Downtown and SilverCity Box Offices 
  • Guest Services Ambassadors

Volunteer forms can also be picked up at Cinéfest Sudbury’s Downtown Box Office at 40 Larch Street, Unit 103.
