City invites feedback on arts and culture strategy

The City of Greater Sudbury would like to invite citizens to provide feedback on the draft Arts and Culture Strategy and Action Plan.

The City of Greater Sudbury would like to invite citizens to provide feedback on the draft Arts and Culture Strategy and Action Plan.

This document is designed to provide direction and clarity in the development of a more vibrant and sustainable arts and culture sector in Greater Sudbury. It was created using a community-based consultation approach, which included three facilitated focus group sessions, attended by representatives from numerous local arts and culture organizations.

The draft strategy will be presented to city council Oct. 4.

"I would like to encourage citizens to review the draft strategy and offer feedback," said Mayor David Courtemanche in a news release. "Community involvement is vital to the successful growth and vitality of the arts and culture sector in our city."
