The City of Greater Sudbury is seeking local entertainers for the 2019 Peter Schneider Concert Series.
For more than 17 years, new and seasoned musicians have delighted crowds during the concert series in Bell Park. The series runs from June to August with free concerts every Sunday evening from 7 - 8:15 p.m.
Performing groups will receive a small honorarium as compensation. Due to limited space available in the program schedule, priority will be given to entertainers who meet the following objectives:
- Entertainment is appropriate for family audiences
- Performances present minimal logistical requirements ensuring that the concerts can remain a free event for the community
- Entertainers are representative of the diversity and culture of the City of Greater Sudbury
The deadline to submit applications to perform in the 2019 Peter Schneider Concert Series is March 29.
