Deux Saisons returns to La Nuit for ‘le bon verre de scotch’

La Nuit sur l’étang will host Deux Saisons at Place des Arts on March 24 to mark La Nuit sur l’étang’s 50th anniversary

Making their much-anticipated return to La Nuit sur l’étang is favourite Deux Saisons (Two Seasons) who will be appearing at Place des Arts on Friday, March 24 to mark La Nuit sur l’étang’s 50th anniversary.

The band’s heyday was in the 1990s when they recorded four albums and appeared in 1,200 concerts in Louisiana, across Canada and Europe. Deux Saisons was a staple of La Nuit sur l’étang’s line-up.

‘’You can expect a show filled with laughter and great music,’’ says group leader and accordionist Jean-Marc Lalonde. ‘’May the Nuit (night) insomniacs live long!’’

‘’Folks will not want to miss this return engagement by Deux Saisons,’’ says event programmer Gino St. Jean. ‘’You can bet they’ll rally us to have another drink or two of scotch.’’ 

Known as the rallying cry to party at ‘’last call’,’ Deux Saisons’ “Un bon verre de scotch” (A good glass of scotch) was quite popular with fans everywhere.

Deux Saisons will appear at Place des Arts on March 24. The second evening event will be held at the Trisac Auditorium at College Boréal. Both events start at 7 p.m. It’s first come first serve for seat selection. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets available at www.lanuit.ca.
