The ribbers have set up shop, and the public is chowing down on ribs, pulled pork and barbecued chicken at Downtown Sudbury Ribfest.
The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Besides six professional ribbers, there are a variety of fair foods available, as well as children's activities, live music and, on Saturday and Sunday, a classic car and motorcycle show.
A portion of Elgin Street will be fully closed and parts of Durham and Larch streets partially closed during the festival. Parking is free Friday after 6 p.m. and all weekend at all municipal lots and meters.
