As residents in Greater Sudbury continue to practice social distancing, Sudbury.com is putting together a weekly list of local virtual events and projects to keep families busy and offer some welcome distraction from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Registration now open for STC  drama classes

Register for Sudbury Theatre Centre’s spring term drama classes, which begin March 20. Students will participate in a variety of games, exercises during the eight-week term. Classes are available in the following age groups (subject to change depending on enrolment):

Discovery Drama: ages 8-10, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Development Drama: ages 11+, 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Classes will be held in the STC auditorium to allow for physical distancing. Masks must be worn at all times. Visit sudburytheatre.com/youth or email [email protected] for more information.

Carnevale takeout special

February 27

Società Caruso take-out dinner includes chicken alla francesca, rainbow tortelli or risotto alla primavera, three-bean salad or tossed salad with vinaigrette, buns and butter, pizzelle, strawberry shortcake or tuxedo chocolate cake. $25 for an individual dinner or $90 for a family. Pick-up Feb. 27 from noon to 6:30 p.m.

Registration now open
