You might not be ready to say goodbye to summer just yet, but the warm season is already waving farewell.

Case in point: The Anderson Farm Museum Heritage Society's 11th annual Fall Fair is coming up on Sept. 9 — yup, that's this Saturday, people.

Admission is free, and there's something for everyone to enjoy. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. and runs to 5 p.m.

“Our 11th Annual Fall Fair will be bigger than ever with more vendors of all kinds and free activities, displays and demonstrations inside the Barn, Milk House, Granary, Farm House and Stable and under tents throughout the 14-acre site,” said Mait Wilson, president of AFMHS.

“We’ll have three outdoor stages featuring local bands, medieval demonstrations, NOAFEM’s Northern Maple the life-sized cow (which you can milk), Massey 4-H Club square dancing and Sudbury 4-H hiking and geo-caching, and even more free fun for children.”

There is no public parking at the fair grounds, but there's a free shuttle bus service thanks to Leuschen Transportation.

Two shuttle buses travel to and from the event every 15 minutes from the TM Davies Arena parking lot and dropping them off at the fair.
