Four golden nods for Sudbury's Stef Paquette

Fellow Sudburian Edouard Landry also nominated for Trille Or award

Nickel City musician and actor Stef Paquette doesn't do things halfway, even when it comes to earning award nominations.

This year, the musician and actor has been nominated for four 2017 Trille Or Francophone music awards.

The awards are presented by the Association des professionnels de la chanson et de la musique (APCM), and will be handed out at a May 5 gala.

He's been nominated for Meilleur interprète masculin (best male artist), Meilleur EP (best EP), Meilleur spectacle (best concert) and Export-Ontario (an artist or band who performs outside Ontario).

Paquette, who's won several Trille Or awards in the past, isn't the only Sudbury musician who's received a nod — Edouard Landry has also been nominated for Meilleur interprète masculin.
