You can get into Science North for free this Sunday, Nov. 10, as the Nickel City’s famous science centre celebrates International Science Centre and Science Museum Day.
Billed as “the largest joint project ever launched by the world’s science centres and museums,” Science North joins more than 300 other institutions in celebrating science and science communication as part of International Science Centre & Science Museum Day festivities.
“Guests are invited to visit Science North on Nov. 10, 2019 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. to create family memories and celebrate science. With FREE admission to Science North visitors are encouraged to explore the science centre, discover special interactive workshops, see the stars at a Planetarium show and view a one-of-a-kind movie experience at IMAX,” Science North said in a release to media.
As part of the special day, visitors to Science North can also participate in exhibits and workshops throughout the day that focus on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Topics include water conservation, gender equality, climate action, and much more!
