L’Arche Sudbury, an organization dedicated to supporting people with intellectual disabilities, is hosting a free concert on Oct. 2 in Bell Park, featuring the sounds of Union Duke.

Describing themselves as a “raucous collision of alt-rock and twang,” the five man band is known for their enthusiastic performances.

Held at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre, the show will take place rain or shine. Opening for Union Duke will be well-known Sudbury singer-songwriter Eric Mullin. Entertainer, musician and actor, Stef Paquette, will host the show.

The concert gets underway at 2 p.m., with a makers market and food vendors opening at 1 p.m.

The event is supported in part by the Northern Lights Festival Boréal and Sudbury Market.
