A free screening of two episodes of the Sudbury-shot television series “What Would Sal Do?” takes place May 26 as part of the slate of events planned for the Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards (NOMFA) 2017.

The show is being screened in the lecture hall at the McEwen School of Architecture (85 Elm St.) from 7-9 p.m. Friday evening. A reception with free refreshments takes place prior to the screening in the foyer outside the lecture hall.

The show, set in Sudbury, is a modern-day parable of an entitled underachiever who, for the first time in his life, is challenged to be a good person when he discovers he’s the second coming of Christ.

“What Would Sal Do? is nominated for a NOMFA award for best television or VOD episode.

The screening will be followed by Q&A with the creators of the show.
