Get in your 'sin wagons' and head to the Sudbury Drive-In Saturday

Grease and Deadpool first films to be screened July 16

Watch Sandy and Danny and the rest of the gang from the musical “Grease” at the official opening of the Sudbury Drive-In on July 16.

Grease (PG) will be screened at 9 p.m. followed by this year's box office smash hit Deadpool (R) at 11 p.m.

The drive-in is a summer project by Katie Yao, Aiden Best and Ben MacKenzie.

The teens received a grant from the provincial Summer Company Program, which gives start-up money to students who want to create their own summer jobs.

Films will be shown July 16, July 30, August 13 and Aug. 27 in The Home Depot parking lot at 1500 Marcus Drive.

Each showing will feature a family friendly-film alongside a film more appropriate for an older audience. Showtimes are 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Ticket prices are $8 for a single movie, $12 for both movies and $35 for a car load (up to five people).
