The fifth annual "Blues for Debi" charity concert takes place on Friday, April 5 at the Caruso Club.

This year's concert will feature the Maurice John Vaughan Band, along with Shirley Johnson, Freddie Dixon, and Joseph Morganfield. Dixon and Morganfield are the sons of Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters, respectively.

Opening the evening will be Sudbury's own Northern Memphis Revival.

Now in its fifth year, Blues for Debi is a benefit concert to honour Debi Anselmo, who passed away after a battle with cancer in May of 2014. All proceeds from this event support the Northern Cancer Foundation (https://www.ncfsudbury.com/) for patient care, research and equipment at the Northeast Cancer Centre.

Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. You can pick up your tickets at the Caruso Club office, Jett Landry Music, A&J Hardware, Motley Kitchen, and the Northern Cancer Foundation office.
