Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario is gearing up to run its annual holiday art sale, Nouvel Louvre.

The gallery is asking artists to submit works of art of all kinds for sale. Submitted works will be displayed on the online store and at the GNO.

The official exhibition will open Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. and will be part of a festive party at the gallery. Invitation and additional details are to come.

Artists are invited to bring a maximum of two pieces of artwork to the gallery as of November first so that GNO can begin posting them on the online store. Once a piece is sold, artists may resubmit during the exhibition period.

All works will be sold for $200, and profits from the sales will be shared between the artist and the GNO (artist receives $125, GNO $75).

The sale will continue until Jan. 13 of next year. This will allow those who have received a gift certificate to purchase a work after the holidays.

GNO is now located in the new Place des Arts building in downtown Sudbury.
