Graphic-Con, Greater Sudbury’s celebration of all things geek and the nerdiest day on the local events calendar, was forced to cancel this year due to COVID-19, as so many other events have had to do.
Neil Stephen, president of the volunteer board of directors, made the announcement April 5 that the June 13 event at Sudbury Arena would be cancelled. You can watch the announcement below.
Stephen said for Graphic-Con fans to keep an eye on social media and the website, as the board is looking for alternatives to the big event that they could stage this year.
