Dig out your cowboy boots, because hearthrob duo Dean Brody and Dallas Smith will be stopping at the Sudbury Arena Oct. 6 at 6 p.m., on their Friends Don't Let Friends Tour Alone tour across Canada.
Sitting at the top of the charts with multiple Juno and CCMA awards to their name, Brody and Smith break into this tour with brand new singles under their belt. Brody got a head start with the release of his single March 8 'Whisky in a Teacup' which he will follow with an EP in April, just days before Smith's EP 'The Fall' drops March 15.
Smith should feel right at home on this star-studded tour, as the first and only Canadian Country Artist in the Nielson BDS era to have four consecutive #1 singles from the same album, with six in total, said a press release. No stranger to the main stage, Brody is sure to 'Bring Down the House' Oct 6. having recieved the title and award for the #1 best selling Canadian country digital track of all-time in 2016.
The boys kick off their road trip Sept. 18 in Sault Ste. Marie, with opening acts by award-winning Chad Brownlee and MacKenzie Porter, who will performing throughout the national tour. Brownlee will be preparing for his first major label album debut during the tour, recently promoted with the release of his single 'Forever's Gotta Start Somewhere' last month.
It may be a boys club, but rising star Porter is sure to make an impression with her newest tracks "Drive Thru" and "About You," which showcase the incredible abilites of this Canadian-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter.
