Enjoy some local up-and-coming performers and help fund affordable housing initiatives in Greater Sudbury at Rhymes 'N Melodies for Roofs 'N Well-Being this Friday.
Hosted by Independent Living Sudbury Manitoulin, Rhymes 'N Melodies aims to help provide affordable and accessible housing to people with disabilities who have difficulties finding jobs.
The event is the brainchild of Jor'Del Downz (a.k.a. Jordel Downey), and will feature performances by him, as well as other Nickel City performers, Crypt (a.k.a. Micheal Stevenson), White Widow (a.k.a.Hugh Duncan) and Storm Hogan.
The event is being held at Little Montreal on May 31, starting at 9 p.m.
Tickets will be sold in advanced for $10 at Independent Living Sudbury at 125 Durham St. or from any of the artists, as well as the night of for $15. All proceeds will be going to the initiative to help support people with disabilities.
