Sudbury native Joey Niceforo returns home May 4 for his first public concert since the release of his debut solo album, Priceless.

What will make this concert extra special is that Niceforo is bringing a band with him that will be led by Richard Evans, musical director for the smash stage production of “Come From Away,” and will feature The Odin String Quartet, said a press release.

Niceforo, former original member of The Canadian Tenors and Destino, now a solo artist, released Priceless in April 2018, which debuted at #3 on the iTunes Pop Charts.

The album was recorded at the world famous Abbey Road Studios in London, UK with an 86-piece orchestra and an impressive list of producers, mixers and arrangers that included Grammy Award winners Steve Sidwell (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), John Jones (Celine Dion), Steve Price (Adele and Sam Smith) and multi-JUNO Award winner Sam Reid (Glass Tiger).

Three singles were released prior to the album; the ABBA classic “Winner Takes It All,” “It All Begins With Love” and “Note To God.”

The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. May 4 At All Nations Church. Tickets, which cost $42 each, are available online through Event Brite or at All Nations Church, Jett Landry Music, Charm Plus and Northern Cancer Foundation.
